Pittsburgh Botanic Garden Weddings
The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is an oasis that not a lot of people (yet!) know about. Hidden in the woods near Oakdale and Robinson Township, the gardens feature a beautiful barn with rustic chandeliers, large outdoor tent, and outdoor ceremony space all on the main grounds. With plenty of room for your guests to dance, eat, mingle, and enjoy the scenery, the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Your wedding ceremony can take place outside in front of the stone fireplace, which is a long stone wall with beautiful scenery (and light!). The bride and bridal party enter along a side aisle, and there is plenty of space for guest seating on the lawn area. There is lots of room for everyone in the audience to have a great view of the ceremony, and the space feels intimate, yet spacious.
Outdoor Tent Reception
Directly behind the ceremony site is the outdoor tent, which typically is the location of the guest tables for dining. The tent is very large and has flaps in the event of inclement weather. It is also connected to the main barn area for easy access to the bar and dancing.
Botanic Garden Barn Reception
Inside of the large, refurbished barn on the property, your guests can dance, eat from the cookie table, grab a drink at the barn, and pop into the photo booth. There is room for it all, and attached restrooms as well!
Wedding Photo Locations
Included on the grounds is a Lotus Pond, Apple Orchard, Dogwood Meadow, and ample trails to explore for your wedding pictures. I could spend all day with a bride and groom at this gorgeous location, and with an address so close to the Pittsburgh Airport and major hotels, it’s a wedding venue that will be a hidden dream come true!
