Hello! I am so glad you found me! I am a newborn photographer servicing families all across the Pittsburgh area. For this session, the family came to my studio from their home in Jefferson Hills. It was wonderful to see them again, as they are repeat clients who often visit for their baby and family photos. It was such a treat to meet their newest little guy!
One of the things that I love most about sessions in my studio is that you will always feel welcome and at home here. The studio sits on quiet property, and it's nice to come and relax for a bit while I take care of your newest addition and photograph them in adorable poses. You can relax on the studio couch or get some outside play time with the siblings while I work with your newborn.
Here at Leeann Marie Photography, I am dedicated to capturing beautiful images of your newest family addition in a professional, safe manner - while you know that they are in the hands of a professional. That is a relaxing space to be! I understand that these precious newborn moments are once-in-a-lifetime and I want you to be able to look back on the images and the photography session as a wonderful, incredible experience.
One of the things that I always do prior to my newborn sessions is ask the parents what kind of style they would like in terms of colors and style. I make sure to pull those colors and setups for your session so that I can work through numerous colors and poses while the little baby is sleeping! I also make sure that the studio is warm and comfortable for your newborn, since they were used to a warm 98.6 degrees for quite some time!
It's important to me to welcome you with open arms, and to make sure that you feel comfortable and at home at the studio. You are always welcome to ask questions, peek in on the photography poses, and make phone calls, work calls, or watch TV while we work together. This should be a time for you to rest easy that your little one is in the best of hands, and that a nurse will not pop in to interrupt you :)
I am also very sensitive to the needs of your little one, and as a mom of four I am very good at reading their cues: hungry, tired, wet diaper, etc. I can help you through their care needs as I see them, so that you don't need to stress about their comfort and we can get as many photos as possible. It definitely helps to have that mom touch!
For this little guy's session, the parents drove from Jefferson Hills, arrived at the studio, set down their items, changed a diaper, and then just got to sit back and watch while I handled the rest (and older brother played on the swing set)!
