Proposals – there are some of my favorite events to photograph! I love the surprise aspect of them, and always work with the ring-holder to plan the timing and location perfectly. It’s all about having a game plan and letting the rest roll!

That said, here are some of the beautiful surprise proposal engagements that I have photographed recently. Each one of them was very special and memorable – wonderful couples!
BEAVER COUNTY PROPOSAL SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT
Josh proposed in front of the pavilion in Beaver, where his girlfriend had no idea why they were walking in the rain! I was there to capture her surprise, and after their engagement we walked around the Beaver streets and then to Starbucks, where they had their first date. We had to commemorate the event with a special cup noting that “She Said Yes!”
Station Square Proposal
George was really on-the-ball and easy to work with, making my job especially pleasant! When he proposed, his girlfriend was so excited and happy – you could tell these two were just meant to be! We photographed their engagement at Station Square and then headed up the Monongahela Incline to their awaiting friends and champagne on the top of Mt. Washington. A fun surprise on top of the initial surprise!
Another Station Square Proposal!
Jimi came to visit Pittsburgh from Canada, and while he was here he had something he needed to do – propose to his girlfriend Anji!
They were enjoying a walk through Pittsburgh, taking lots of photos along the way, only to find out that I was there to take LOTS of photos of what was to come!
