What led these two to a wedding ceremony at Soldiers and Sailors? “The Groom has always been a history buff so that lead us to our location at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall. It’s been his only request! Everything else is mostly the bride’s doing. She has always been a more traditional girl so that inspired the classic elegant theme of the wedding. We had to spice it up somewhere though, so that led us to choosing December as our wedding date. Winter weddings are so beautiful and don’t get the popularity that they deserve!”
I can totally agree with that – winter weddings are always beautiful! I loved how they got gorgeous weather, and we were able to photograph them outside for their portraits. On top of that, they had special little touches (all perfectly executed with the help of Heather from Day of Pittsburgh) – including little “Emergency Kits” of meds and bandaids to showcase Meghan’s pharmacy background. Adorable!
I loved photographing their wedding with the best team around me (Christina + Christina from Traveling Heart Productions, and my second photographer Pamela Anticole). We had a great time and I hope Meghan and Jake love their wedding gallery for years!
