Rebecca and John met at Purdue, through a mutual friend sophomore year. They were in the same major, but had never crossed paths. They ended up in more classes together and began spending more time together. At the end of senior their year John asked Becky out! (finally!)

While they were living in Indianapolis, they took a weekend trip to Chicago. John proposed at Pie In The Sky over Chicago pizza and a view of the city. Now that sounds like romance to me – everything I like in a date 🙂

With their mutual love for the fall season (the smells, the food, the beautiful colors- everything) they decided that a fall wedding was the perfect fit for them. They really wanted some bright autumn colors and comfort. They chose Phipps Conservatory for an outdoor wedding ceremony in the side garden for its natural beauty and atmosphere. They also decided to treat their guests to the fairytale view (there is that city view theme again!) and the beautiful fixtures and light with a wedding reception at the LeMont Restaurant.

Their wedding day was easy-going and I learned something very valuable to my career: small children are attracted to Fingerlings, and I can have it on one hand while photographing with the other. MAGIC. haha 🙂 Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day:

Bakery: Fengolietto’s

Catering + Reception: LeMont Restaurant

DJ: Entertainment Tonite

Dress: MB Bride

Floral: Fields of Heather

Hair + Makeup: Salon Richards

Stationery: Steve Schwarz
