Melanie and Alex: A true #sheswipedyes story. They met on Tinder!
First, it’s obvious from this entire wedding post that these two have style and looks. You’ll see that in abundance in their images. I just love their entire gallery. What you can’t see simply from images is how kind and family-oriented these two are. They are very close with their parents, siblings, aunts, and friends, and everyone that was with them on their wedding day was so happy for the two of them!
Melanie got ready in the upstairs apartment at J Verno Studios, which, if it’s ever for sale I may seriously consider buying. It was a gorgeous apartment! After she got all ready, she gifted her mom with a lovely clutch, with a personalized message written on the inside. It was a really lovely gift!
Alex and Melanie were married at St. Paul Cathedral, where her dress just totally fit with the long aisle, and we were able to capture some sweet family moments.
After the ceremony, we photographed their portraits outside with family in front of the parsonage, and then went quickly across the street to the Carnegie Institute pillars for photos with their bridal party. Although we were running short on time, we managed to squeeze in a quick stop on the North Shore, where we got some gorgeous photos of the couple with the bridges and skyline, and fun photos with their bridal party in a different setting.
Now – on to the reception – J Verno Studios looked so gorgeous decorated in glowing candles and vibrant flowers by The Farmer’s Daughter. Christina from Hello Productions kept the entire event at the studio rolling, from personal toasts to a fun dance floor to a big cookie tier – it was a wedding to remember! Here are some of the beautiful wedding photos from their J Verno Studios event:
