Kelsey and Max were married this June at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. When I first met them on their wedding day, they were every bit as sweet and fun as I imagined they would be from our communications! <3
Their wedding ceremony took place on the outdoor Rainforest Room patio, followed by a ceremony in the Sarris Special Events Hall. Photographing Phipps Conservatory weddings are some of my absolute favorite events, because the light is always so pretty around the venue and editing the galleries is a dream! Kelsey and Max’s wedding edit didn’t disappoint, with lots of color, emotion, and happiness.
Their reception decor was set to mimic the natural colors of succulents, and there were beautiful pinks, greens, and grays to show off their style. Also included was a special mailbox for their guest notes – all written on postcards featuring her Dad’s photos of the Conservatory. A special way to honor him!
Their florals by Karrie Hlista were stunning, with flowers not only at the reception, but flanking the couple during the ceremony, and beautiful bouquets for the bride and her maids. The cake by Prantl’s was another wonderful touch, and I just loved all of their sweet succulent decor!
To honor her Dad, Kelsey kept a little blue heart from her shirt sewn into her dress, and she danced with both her Mom and her Brother at the reception, all while wishing that he was also there to take in the special moments.
Thank you so much, Kelsey and Max, for having me with you on your wedding day. It was a true pleasure and honor to photograph your Phipps wedding! <3
