Melissa and Jordan were married on October 27th, with a reception at the Sheraton Station Square Hotel.
These two were incredibly kind and gracious to work with, not to mention easy-going. That was a relief to me as their wedding photographer, especially since the day of their wedding turned out to be pretty rainy and cold. But these two ran with the day and didn’t let the weather get them down! They were just so happy to get married!
Melissa and Jordan’s Sheraton Station Square Wedding
This wedding was also a chance for them to show everyone in attendance at their church how they like to worship. Jordan was just recently baptized in the Pittsburgh River, so their wedding day was another big step in their faith journey. Unfortunately for me, the church was a little dark, and it was hard to take photos after the event, but I’m happy with the way the gallery turned out. I was able to play with Edison bulb lights in the ceremony room and use reflections to get some gorgeous shots. Besides, the experience itself was unforgettable, with some great singers and readings.
After the ceremony, I was able to get some photos of Melissa and Jordan at the Convention Center. My favorite had to be the photo of Jordan holding Melissa’s bouquet—he looks so happy!
Thank you, Melissa & Jordan, for letting me document this part of your journey together. I know you will both continue to be examples of faith and love for those around you. Thanks also to my amazing second shooter, Adam, for helping me out with this wedding!
