Herr’s Island Engagement Photos
I met up with Christina and Peter on Herr’s Island, which is sometimes better known as Washington’s Landing, on a gorgeous autumn day in October. The weather couldn’t have been better! These two had a couple of ideas for where they wanted to shoot engagement photos, and their location ideas did not disappoint.
Herr’s Island is always beautiful, especially in the fall time when the leaves are changing. We were able to photograph them on the iron bridge, with the city skyline, and with all of the pretty colors and scenery.
Engagement Photos at The Frick Museum
After we worked at Washington’s Landing, we hopped in our cars and headed over to The Frick Museum. Now, I’ve worked in Frick Park right around the museum, but never on the actual museum property. Christina and Peter were telling me that the museum only hosts a limited number of weddings a year (and maybe not at all anymore?), and that they had seriously considered it for their wedding venue – so it was nice that we made it there for engagement photos instead!
The Frick had pretty strung lights, a small greenhouse that resembled Phipps, and of course all of the fall color and architecture we all love about Pittsburgh.
Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session – can’t wait to work with them on their wedding day. They have an awesome vision in mind – stay tuned!
Leave a comment at the bottom and share the love for them!
