Broderie Room Phipps Conservatory Weddings
If every couple approached their wedding day photography like Lace and Danny, I think there would be a lot more grooms who are nervous about the idea of ‘photo time. These two had so much fun with it, and I was so happy when I left their wedding day! They have a joy for life that is infectious, and it was an honor to work with them! Their wedding ceremony took place in the always-beautiful Phipps Conservatory Broderie Room, where I photograph lots of intimate wedding ceremonies in Pittsburgh.
After the wedding ceremony, we photographed lots of family photos in the Broderie Room, including pictures with their awesome boy! He was such a doll! I think it’s great that I, too, have a three year old at home, because while their parents on wedding days are nervous about their behavior, I approach them openly – crying or happy! I’ve seen it all! The kids are awesome! The littles in this family were chasing each other all of the room prior to the ceremony, and it’s obvious that the little guy loves playing with his cousins!
We also took time to photograph them around Phipps Conservatory, and then walked down to the Schenley Bridge. They had a lock customized with their names on it, and so they attached it to the bridge to celebrate their wedding day. We made sure to put it up high, so that it wouldn’t get cut down too easily by any police officers or city clean up crews coming by 🙂
Congratulations to Lace + Danny – thank you so much for having me! Your wedding day was amazing!!
