Mexican War Streets Engagement Photos

Favorite Moment:
SO MANY with these two! The conversation throughout and the laughs we shared… all amazing but what stuck with me as we walked away from each other was talk of their wedding, specifically the planning. I use engagement sessions as a time to check in and get a feel for how planning is progressing. So I asked and got the most confident reply when they said that they just want it to be easy (in my head I thought… just “like their love”). Laid-back and no hassles. That’s what is important to them on their day and they are not overthinking anything, which will allow them to be in the day, living the important moments. They are getting married next year and that’s really all that matters… the rest will come together!

Love this approach to planning and I know I’m going to love their day!!

Vibrant Style:
Cozy: their clothes, the afternoon sunlight, their personalities… they are all cozy and it came across in their images. There is a level of comfort between Chelsey and Jonathan that floated to the surface as that were wrapped up in each others arms on what I think was a perfect Fall day.

Engagement Location:
North Side – Mexican War Streets, West Park

Thank you:
Fall weather gods… Thank you! I love you (when you cooperate)!! We shot on an afternoon as lovely as the two people in front of the camera and I love when that happens.
Chelsey + Jonathan… you’re kind of amazing people and I truly loved the time we spent wandering around my part of town together. I can’t wait to document the day you say I DO!
