Mellon Park Engagement Photos

Planning their engagement session was a whirlwind! We had it on the calendar for the end of October, and as the date neared the weather was all over the place! We were originally scheduled for 5pm, but were able to flex a little bit and move it up to 12:15pm. That was JUST the right amount of time. We got sun, shade, and finally  – rain. But not to worry, these two were pros and flexible with moving quickly! Love their session

Kendra Scott earrings (always my favorite), leather skirt, chambray, off-the-shoulder wool dresses, fall leaves, dimples from both. Perfection.

I noted at one point that some of the images I’ve been seeing lately remind me a bit of Colorado. Something about the scenery in Pittsburgh right now and the light – and so my favorite image of Kaylyn and Greg is with tall, somewhat bare, but still colorful trees in the background and some lovely expression. Just feels to me like it’s not exactly in Pittsburgh, and that’s fun sometimes!

Thank you for trusting me with your photography, and for letting me know exactly what you like – that helps a ton! You two are naturals in front of the camera, and I’m thrilled to see how your wedding day unfolds!
