Nemacolin Woodlands Resort Wedding
Favorite Family Moment:
I always love it when my couples pay homage to the long marriages before them. Whether that be in the form of an anniversary dance, special note in the program, or an announcement at the wedding, honoring the tradition and importance of marriage is important. On Karla + John’s wedding day, they honored her parents, who were celebrating thirty years together that weekend. They had a special dance at the wedding for them, and it was lovely to watch Karla’s parents slow dance together and smile, as I imagine they did on their wedding day as well.
Vibrant Wedding Style:
Karla and John’s wedding at Nemacolin Woodlands was classic and timeless, a style that is always fitting for such beautiful location. They used charcoal and pink, large chandeliers, sparkly linens, and paid special tribute to their favorite puppy on their cake topper!
Our Favorite Wedding Photo:
Their dog, Rocky, is like their first child, so he was really important to their wedding day. I loved how much they included him, and so my favorite photo is the THREE of them coming back down the wedding aisle as a family. Man, they love their dog, and Rocky was pretty pumped to be there too.

Thank you:
Karla + John! The two of you had an absolutely stunning and classic wedding, but my favorite part of the day – how incredibly down-to-earth the two of you are. Spending time with you is like spending time with old friends, so it’s no wonder you had so many people there to support your marriage. They must love to be with you as much as I do. It was a pleasure working with you and your families!
