Favorite Family Moment:
Tracy’s maid of honor was her mom. She’s her closest friend. It was wonderful to see them both, spending honest time together before the wedding in the bridal suite. Tracy laughed with her mom and aunt, was visited by friends, uncles, and her dad, and genuinely enjoyed her time being surrounded by the closest of family members.
Their wedding was intimate, honest, and incredibly true to themselves. Their wedding was in a tiny town of Foxburg, PA – a location next to the Allegheny River where the town’s only road is ALSO the town’s parking lot. Instead of traditional wedding cake, they served frozen custard cake from the restaurant where Chris worked as a teenager. Tracy’s wedding dress was BLUE and her hair was PURPLE! She pulled it off so well! On top of that, the lyrics to their wedding song are the story of their relationship:
“Now there’s a beautiful river in the valley ahead
There ‘neath the oak’s bough soon we will be wed
Should we lose each other in the shadow of the evening trees
I’ll wait for you
And should I fall behind
Wait for me
Darlin’ I’ll wait for you”
Our Favorite Photo:
I have so many from their wedding day, but perhaps my favorite is by the river at the end of the evening. There is a true bond between these two, and seeing them always take a moment to spend with each other is a treasure. They stood there, breathing in the fresh air, the scenery of the Allegheny River, and the moment in time on their wedding day and start of their new life as a family of two (plus two kitties).
