Phipps Conservatory Garden Wedding Photography
Favorite Family Moment: Tara is really close with her grandfather. So much so, that he officiated their wedding ceremony. He was ordained just so that he could assume the duty, and when I say he was beaming about it – he. was. beaming. Watching him preside over their marriage nuptials in the Phipps Conservatory garden was wonderful! He was so proud of Tara and he did a fantastic job! “Good job, Pap.” and a hug solidified all of his hard work preparing. I’m sure that Tara and Marc will forever remember not only that he was the one to marry them, but the true joy that came from his smile as he read through the service.
Vibrant Style: Tara and Marc’s Phipps Conservatory wedding was a perfect pastel garden wedding, and with beautiful weather it all came together wonderfully. They had painted mirrors, bright flowers, and “Please be seeded” place settings for the guests. Perhaps one of the most personal touches – Tara and Marc both worked on the illustrations for the programs, with Tara drawing the girls and Marc drawing the guys. Everyone was joking how Marc’s drawings were all the same round head and one feature – which was big ears for Tara’s brother… hey….
Our Favorite Photo: Besides all of the images of Tara’s Pap just smiling like crazy, my favorite wedding picture is Tara and Marc immediately after the wedding ceremony in the Phipps garden. They walked down the aisle, up the few steps, and immediately embraced. It was public, but also a private moment. It’s like they were finally able to hold each other and breathe together.
