Grand Hall Priory Wedding Photography Pittsburgh
Favorite Family Moment: I know I’m always a sucker for these moments, but when Amanda’s dad walked into the room and saw her for the first time, it was pure *magic*. Needless to say, Amanda looked stunning, and she’s the only daughter in a family with two other boys, so it was a truly special moment. Her father instantly teared up, placed his hand over his mouth, and hugged her incredibly tight.
Vibrant Style: Amanda LOVES J Crew. AWESOME. I love me some J Crew too! And knowing this, we planned a lot of her photography around their bright, airy look. Well, cue the Pittsburgh weather and – it rained all day long. I was *determined* to give her the style she was looking for, and to create portraits that were exciting, interesting, and not that “flat rain-light” or indoors. And so, with a challenge in mind I am always excited about the day! I’m thrilled with their rainy photos, and hope to see their wedding on a big name blog soon!
Our Favorite Photo: Hands down the photo of Amanda and Nathan in the rain outside of the Grand Hall at the Priory on their wedding day. That photograph is just stunning, simple, and classic – and so I love it a lot! I also adore the photo series of Amanda’s father seeing her as a bride for the first time.
Wedding Venue: St. Boniface Church and Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory
