Jordana + Brian’s Heinz Chapel and Renaissance Hotel Wedding
Favorite Family Moment: Jordana got ready in the bridal suite of the Renaissance Hotel with her bridesmaids, mother, and sister. As she was getting into her wedding dress, her sister stood in front of her and they shared a moment of pure happiness. You could tell by the looks on their faces that they were connected, and that her sister was genuinely thrilled for her.
Also, the bridal party is like family, and I think it’s awesome that they all went to Hemingway’s before the ceremony! If you’re a PITT grad like me, you can appreciate this tradition!
Vibrant Style: Jordana and Brian highlighted their wedding day in some of the greatest ways! They lined the beautiful staircase of their Renaissance Hotel wedding venue in candles, which played beautifully into the romantic pink that they chose for their wedding color. The reception room was also lit up pink to add to the romantic touches, and there were candles on all of the tables as well. One of my favorite pieces from their wedding decor was the custom flower wall, which served as the backdrop for their wedding selfie station!
Our Favorite Photo: I am always drawn to photos of sweet moments, like Jordana + her sister as she was getting ready, or her father giving away his daughter at the front of the Heinz Chapel aisle. I love the sweet moments with their nieces and nephew – the special children in their lives, and the bridal party (their best of friends) all hugging around them while on the North Shore. Perhaps, though, my favorite photo from their wedding gallery is the one of Jordana going up the Renaissance Hotel steps. Loren and I lit that image with my Profoto B2, and I just love how it turned out. That’s what happens when we get a little time to experiment and play with lights on the wedding day!
