Favorite Family Moment: Hannah is one of three sisters, and so it’s always been a household full of ladies. But there is one guy in their lives that means the world to them – Dad. When I first arrived on the wedding day, he was standing in the hallway outside of her hotel room waiting for when he would be “allowed” into the room. Inside, all of the girls were getting ready, finishing hair and makeup, and putting on their dresses. When the time came for Dad to see his daughter for the first time, the room cleared and Hannah stood in the middle of it dressed in her wedding gown. There’s nothing quite like the moment when a father sees his daughter as a bride for the first time. Tears, joy, smiles, hugs. It’s a beautiful moment to witness, especially for a father of three girls.
Vibrant Style: As you can tell, Hannah looked absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sottero wedding dress, and the rest of the day was complimented by gorgeous fuschia flowers by Karrie Hlista Designs and candles galore! One of my favorite details was the wedding cake – with gold foil and lace detailing by Bethel Bakery.
Our Favorite Photo: I love the photos of Hannah in the sunlight with the pine trees, simply because I know the backstory to their portraits. There actually were not many places on the property that had 1) beautiful light 2) great, clean backgrounds and 3) color. I always look for these things in setting up portraits, so I am just happy to have found the little nook of pine trees to work with. I also love the photo of Hannah reading the bible at the beginning of the day, when she was sharing the note that her Grandfather wrote to his bride many years ago.
