Alyssa and Ashton were really patient with me. Why? Because for the past few months I’ve been switching over my studio management software, and it seems that they were the recipients of all of my miscellaneous, erroneous emails. Each time one of them was mistakenly sent Alyssa would write back an easy-going “Whoops. Looks like it happened again!” (Sorry, guys!)
But really, I should have known simply from our email conversations that these two were great “go-with-the-flow” kind of people. Their rehearsal dinner and wedding were both beautifully organized, but also very down-to-earth. That’s what I love so much about the couples that I get to work with. They’ve got great taste, but they’re never presumptuous. And that’s exactly Alyssa and Ashton! Their party was amazing (thanks to Elite Show Band. The best!), and Alyssa looked simply gorgeous in her body-skimming dress. Florals by Hens and Chicks were simply gorgeous, and the light inside of the Allegheny Country Club made for a classic and elegant backdrop.
Alyssa’s dad spoke of their time together in the “Indian Princesses” program, and it’s obvious how much she’s adored as his little rainbow Pocahontas. Ashton’s mom and dad were gracious hosts for the rehearsal at their home complete with brick-oven pizzas and dancing. It was obvious that Ashton’s sister was excited to have a new sister-in-law, and his grandmother Babe was a dancing pro.
Thank you for having Loren and I with you on such a special weekend! We had a great time!
