Brittany and Jorden are my “oldest” 2015 couple. I don’t mean in age, but I mean in terms of how long I’ve been preparing for their wedding. We met in 2013 when they hired me to photograph their engagement, and from there we decided that it was such a great connection that I would photograph their wedding too! What an honor!

There are young couples that seem like they’re ‘testing it out’ when it comes to marriage, and then there are young couples that just ‘get it’. These two just ‘get it’. They’re meant to be married, and will be setting a wonderful example of a beautiful, respectful, faith-filled marriage for all of their friends as they take the journey towards wedded-bliss as well. I was married “young” – at just 24, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

Brittany and Jorden are simply divine together, and they were up for anything on their wedding day. Having them place so much trust in me as their photographer made my job so easy. Although the humidity and rain wanted to mess with us a bit, we were versatile on their timeline management and were able to enjoy the day stress-free.

Their weddings was by far one of my favorites recently – with a packed dance floor (thanks to Eric Scheimer!), and… Well, I learned what the heck a whip and a naenae was. Good times! 🙂
