She’s already changed her email and her twitter name. Her wedding had a hashtag. YES, a hashtag. Here’s me, Ms. iPhone addict soon my thumbs will have carpal tunnel and I’m shooting a wedding where there is a hashtag. Oh you can bet your money I was instagramming as well. Totally permissible at this point.
She can tweet away. He can play some mean baseball. She can tell you all about her latest shoe obsession. He can find a running joke with you and enjoy it each and every time. (Hand in pocket, Brad.)
Shilo and Brad were married on a wonderful fall day at Horizon Point at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The staff was busy preparing for the festivities with the perfect napkins, candle centerpieces, and candy bar to. die. for Shilo prepared with her girlfriends in a townhouse on the Nemacolin lands, while Brad kept it quiet just hanging out with his brother at the Chateau at Nemacolin before the ceremony was set to start.
Brad’s brother, Barrett, helped his dad with his bowtie. I just love how this image is classy. Stoic. Iconic for their relationship.
The wedding ceremony was held in front of the fireplace at Horizon Point, and it was a ceremony of beautiful candles, hydrangeas, and not-so-subtle double entendre’s by the officiant.
Following the ceremony we headed over to Falling Rock to take photos of Shilo and Brad alone, with the gorgeous rolling hills of Pennsylvania and the hotel as the scenery.
When we came back, the reception room was just stunning. Shilo used purples and silvers, and the tablescapes were beautifully arranged.
Following an amazing dinner service, the party really kicked off! The guests were invited to dance, mingle, load up on candy, and indulge themselves on fresh cocktails and home-made biscotti.
Thank you so much for having me! It was a chic, hashtag-full, hand-in-pocket soiree! xo
