Megan and Joe are in love. Not just love, but lovey love. Super lovey love.
They call each other “Bup”, which stems from the word “baby”. The nickname is now so common that all of their friends know the term and embrace it. To most of them, it’s a nickname, but to Joe and Megan it’s a term of endearment. A deep term that they use between the two of them to show that they love each other. Love-love eachother.
They are a couple that I’ve had the priviledge of knowing for a while now, and my friendship with Megan has become more and more strong over the months. I loved hearing all about her wedding plans, stresses, and ideas. She’s a truly creative girl, and her ideas never cease to amaze me.
Joe, a programmer, is truly a musician at heart. So much so, that he wrote Megan a song just for her that he played at their proposal following the Symphony. Their wedding ceremony was basked in sweet musical touches, and their personal vows were songs straight from their hearts.
Their wedding day was wonderful, so much fun, and amazing to be a part of. Thank you SO much for having me and I wish you both the absolute best. I’m so lucky to call you my friends.
First and foremost, Megan had killer shoes!
The look on a girl’s face when she opens a gift of diamonds…
Some of the gorgeous flowers by Blumengarten. I loved her color combination.
Mom and daughters.
The handsome groom and his groomsmen.
They wrote their vows to each other, which was a really personal touch.
THIS IS MY HUSBAND. Yes, ladies, that’s my prize. He was the bus driver for the day. YES, WE OWN A BUS.
Sassy bridal party.
Any picture with a weeping willow is my instant favorite.
Megan and I took an evening a couple of months ago to scope locations, grab dinner, and chat. This was a random field we found close to the airport, and it was an absolutely beautiful location!
Can I have a lot of favorites?
Megan, you are STUNNING.
Something different with the sky.
First dance – they had great uplighting, which can be a big difference in a reception venue!
Shannon and Mike! Getting married in May 2011 🙂
What a fun wedding!!
And, finally, their slideshow set to the engagement song written and sung by Joe himself.
