When Linzy contacted me, we were working on figuring out whether or not they wanted an engagement session. After some talking about it, I asked if she would leave it in my hands and shoot when and where I wanted. She happily agreed and we ended up in the Southside of Pittsburgh at night.
Now, I cannot by any means say that this was an easy session. Linzy and Mike were incredibly easy and wonderful to work with, but the number of onlookers and fact that it was a night session made it a challenge for myself – the exact point of my choosing to shoot there on a Saturday evening. I think these kinds of slightly crazy challenges will only help me grow over time. I left our session so happy to have spent more time with Linzy and Mike, but really confused on how I think I did. Are the images ok? Am I happy? Are they happy? Did we all have a good time? It was stressful!
Only on Sunday morning when I received the sweetest text message from Linzy did I feel better. Her and Mike are so sweet and cute together, and it just took that little message to reassure me that yes, I do have the best clients ever, and yes, they had a good time. They’ll be married in December at Oglebay – who wants to guess how beautiful their wedding will be?! *gush*
Love all of the different colors of light that we get in the South Side.
They’re really happy together and laugh a lot.
My favorite. Hot stuff!
