Category Archives: 13 – Portraits I photographed Maggie & Tim’s engagement session back in July of 2010! In the meanwhile, they’ve married on the beach and settled into a new home with their family. I always love when I hear from my past clients and am once again able to document their lives.  Today I wanted to bring you something a little different! Sometimes I’m asked if I shoot anything besides weddings, engagements, and boudoir. And the answer is “Yes, but only if I like you.” Kidding! I will occasionally shoot senior portraits, family photos, newborns, etc if my schedule allows for it. Just recently I worked... no comments no comments  When I received a voicemail from Christen, she just explained that she had a “different” request. Being that I also shoot boudoir, sometimes I get voice mails that say the same thing. I wasn’t sure what was in store for me! When I called her back, I heard a terrible story. Even though we wedding photographers attend many weddings every year, we must never lose sight that for each couple, that’s the most important wedding they’ll ever attend. Agreeing to photograph that day is a serious commitment and never one to be taken lightly. And certainly never ignored! Sheesh! Beautiful!
