I love it when my mom, sister-in-law, and niece come over to visit. Sure, they live about 40 minutes away, but I’m always flattered when they make the trip out for some dinner and an evening visit. They were out this past Tuesday and Lydia was in full force. Here are some fun images of her playing! I just love her to itty bitty pieces!

It seems like the “vintage” look is really popular these days, but I really love some true vintage photos. Especially ones of my grandmother. My niece is now 5 months. Amazing! I can’t believe how fast it goes already, and how big she is every time we see her!! My mom, sister-in-law, and niece came over this past Thursday to spend some family time and I was able to snap a few photos. Here are some favorites.

A Dream

So I can actually say that I don’t remember a lot of my dreams. I know that they’re there and I know that (to me) they’re interesting, but a lot of times when I wake up the memory just isn’t there. Last night, however, I actually remember my dream. And I’m so glad I do. The best part of remembering my dream is that my Grandma was in my dream. She was honestly one of my best friends ever, and I miss her so incredibly much. She still has a weird way of stopping in every now and then to let me know that everything is just fine – both with her and with me. Both my brother and my wedding days were absolutely gorgeous days – a sign that we both believe was her making her attendance known. In my dream last night she seemed great, and she let me know that she likes my photography work. I know, I know, to you it may sound silly, but to me it’s perfectly clear. She’s proud and she’s happy. And to me those are two things that make me just incredibly happy. I miss her so much on this earth, but it’s amazing to know that she’s not completely gone. Last night’s dream is a motivator and a great reminder of what a wonderful person my Grandma is. I’m so glad I remembered this morning.

….Brad and I are off to Detroit for Game 5. Then Scotty and Leah’s engagement shoot tomorrow!! BYE!
