Jessica and Tom were married on June 26th in the outdoor garden of Phipps Conservatory. Their wedding was an absolutely wonderful breath of fresh air, with a garden party-type atmosphere and lawn games. I loved all of the style and intimacy they brought to the wedding day, and it was simply beautiful. The details were killer, but the best part was that Jessica and Tom were able to share their perfect day with the people that mean the most to them. Thank you both for having me with you, and now on to the pictures!

The bridesmaids were all very helpful with the dress.

Jessica and Tom did a first look, and that freed us up to take pictures before the ceremony.

Love Phipps. It’s so beautiful there.

Groom. Bride.

The girls being a little sassy, and a classic picture of the wonderful couple.

Loved Jess’s hair flowers. In person they were really delicate and beautiful.

So Jessica is a teacher and works with little kids all day, so when I saw these little notes I was just in awe. She had them learning metaphors and similes and they wrote about weddings and marriage. She then printed them out and hung them on twine between the tent poles. A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.

On to the ceremony!

Tom was definitely the first groom I’ve seen using his Flip cam to record his bride coming down the aisle. Hey, he’s with the times!

And this is what he saw… *awww*

They also did a handfasting ceremony during their wedding, and it was wonderful! Some beautiful statements about marriage. I got a bit teary.

And an exit to fun music![]()

Their best man sang his speech (mostly) and it was great! I believe it was the “new” rendition of the famous Prince piece “Raspberry Beret” on the story of how Jess and Tom met.

Dozen Cupcakes: seal of approval from the bride.

First dance with some beautiful bokeh (um… the blurry stuff in the backgrounds..
)

Oh my gosh! Really?! How cute are these two little boys!

Part of the awesomness of the wedding was that there were plenty of lawn games to play. Bocce on the lawn. Beautiful light. Great atmosphere for a garden wedding.

Thank you both for having me with you on your wedding day! I loved it!
