Oakmont Country Club Wedding | Lee & Brian

Ok so here’s a little secret. Lee and Brian were my first wedding contract, not personal friends, ever. Hey you two – did you know that?:)When I got the call from Brian that they wanted to hire me to photograph their wedding, I was ecstatic. I was on my way to a photographers meeting here in Pittsburgh and remember running in the door to tell my friend Elizabeth how excited I was. This was going to be a good thing, and Lee and Brian instantly placed their trust in me.

Since then, time has gone by and business has expanded, but when it was time for Lee and Brian’s wedding I went back to that day when I was so excited thinking “These two trust me. I’m going to do them well.” And I hope I did!

Their wedding was oh so fun, and when Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” came on, the dance floor was hoppin’! They currently live in California and came back to Pittsburgh for their wedding, where all of their family and friends were around to help celebrate. Lee’s choice of navy blue and green was chic but classic, and I loved spending the day with them both. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding, followed by a slideshow at the end! Congratulations to you both!

Why not start the post with some shoes? Yes please.

Lee Boes and Brian Stecko are married.

Oh, bridal party, you’re all so good looking.

Their wedding colors were navy blue and lime green.

Dudes.

They were married in June of 2010 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Monroeville.

And the beautiful Bride and Groom!

Lee wore a beaded and tuelle dress with straps.

Brian patiently awaited his bride to come down the aisle.

They live in San Diego, California.

They met while attending Penn State University.

Proud parents.

They decided to get married and have their wedding in Pittsburgh.

Speaking of parents – at one point during the ceremony they had both Brian and Lee’s parents come forward, since they have both been married for some time and remain a wonderful example of marriage.

Their wedding reception was at the Oakmont Country Club.

On to Oakmont!

We took a lot of their pictures on the golf course of Oakmont.

Jumping pictures are just fun. I think it shows everyone’s personality!

Their wedding photographer was Leeann Marie Photography

Their wedding was really fun.

These two are some of my favorites!

The DJ was good at keeping the dance floor busy.

Their portraits of the bride and groom are beautiful and still a little sexy.

The photography part of the day went very smoothly and we just missed the rain.

I had brian hold a lamp close to Lee’s face for this lighting.

They had beautiful navy blue and green wedding details.

Ok, seriously!? How hot!

They are now Lee and Brian Stecko

Loved all the fun colored lighting during their reception, which was absolutely beautiful.

Pittsburgh is a fun place to have a wedding.

I love the way Lee’s dress is flying around here with her dad.

You should make sure to choose the best photographer you can afford.

I think they’re wondering exactly what he’s doing

Leeann Marie Photography, who worked this wedding, is a photographers in Pittsburgh.

Congratulations!

Oakmont Country Club was beautiful for their wedding.

Beth Boes - Leeann- I’m a little bit biased as the mother of the bride, but it was one of the most beautiful weddings ever! You have done an amazing job and I can’t wait to see the final album. You were great to work with too. Thanks for capturing the day in such a beautiful and professional way.

Gary Ryback - Very nice. Beautiful bride. Comments.

“Dudes” pic looks like a mafia shot. Brian playing the GodFather.

“Jumping” pic is awesome.

Why is Brian biting Lee’s shoulder in the next shot, did he pull a hammie jumping?

“Loved all the fun colored lighting …” pic. Lighting was ok but that smashmouth kiss, that’s something to talk about.
