Ok so here’s a little secret. Lee and Brian were my first wedding contract, not personal friends, ever. Hey you two – did you know that?
When I got the call from Brian that they wanted to hire me to photograph their wedding, I was ecstatic. I was on my way to a photographers meeting here in Pittsburgh and remember running in the door to tell my friend Elizabeth how excited I was. This was going to be a good thing, and Lee and Brian instantly placed their trust in me.
Since then, time has gone by and business has expanded, but when it was time for Lee and Brian’s wedding I went back to that day when I was so excited thinking “These two trust me. I’m going to do them well.” And I hope I did!
Their wedding was oh so fun, and when Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” came on, the dance floor was hoppin’! They currently live in California and came back to Pittsburgh for their wedding, where all of their family and friends were around to help celebrate. Lee’s choice of navy blue and green was chic but classic, and I loved spending the day with them both. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding, followed by a slideshow at the end! Congratulations to you both!
Why not start the post with some shoes? Yes please.

Oh, bridal party, you’re all so good looking.

Dudes.

And the beautiful Bride and Groom!

Brian patiently awaited his bride to come down the aisle.

Proud parents.

Speaking of parents – at one point during the ceremony they had both Brian and Lee’s parents come forward, since they have both been married for some time and remain a wonderful example of marriage.

On to Oakmont!

Jumping pictures are just fun. I think it shows everyone’s personality!

These two are some of my favorites!

I had brian hold a lamp close to Lee’s face for this lighting.

Ok, seriously!? How hot!

Loved all the fun colored lighting during their reception, which was absolutely beautiful.

I love the way Lee’s dress is flying around here with her dad.

I think they’re wondering exactly what he’s doing

Congratulations!
