Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This year I am thankful for so much!

To the Pittsburgh Photography Community: It’s been a very fast year, and I can’t believe it! My business has been growing a lot, and I’m really excited to be photographing so many fun weddings, and newly-engaged couples. I’ve met some great friends this year and I am extremely thankful for all of their help and support throughout the year. I could not be where I am without you! A special thanks to: Elizabeth Craig for your initial acceptance and teachings about photography and the world of blogs; Joanne Bartone for your continued support as I grow and learn. You are a blessing; Kim Reed, with your incredibly genuine personality and unique abilities. I admire you; and Heather Lahtinen, who is my efficiency guru and a true help. You are all very special women, and wonderful resources. I am very blessed to be included in an amazing group of Pittsburgh Wedding Photographers, including others that have been teachers, mentors, and most of all friends. Thank you for driving me to be the best I can.

To my husband: You’ve been spectacularly supportive, and I truly appreciate everything you’ve helped with. It’s very hard sometimes to work and then work some more. We haven’t seen each other as much. But you’re always there at the end of the day, and you won’t let me quit. I love that you understand how important my work is to me, and that you’re not afraid to let me pursue my dreams. Now if you’d only start putting your glasses in the dishwasher, I’d be really happy!;-)

To my friends: Thank you for listening to me talk all things photography, even when you may not be interested. Thank you for being my test subjects. Thank you for supporting me, and remembering that I exist even when I’m not around on weekend evenings. You rock!

To my parents: You have been truly supportive this year, and continue to encourage me. I am so glad that you want me to pursue what makes me happy, and I’m so glad for the two of you. I hope that next year you are both happy and healthy, and I love having two loving people to call whenever I need to talk. Love you.

To my niece: I love you and you can’t read this yet, but you will be my subject for years to come! You’ve been an absolute joy and blessing to our family, just like your mommy and daddy. *kisses*
