Erin and Tim’s wedding was classy and timeless, but that doesn’t mean they were afraid to throw in some fun colors and linens! Here are their wedding day details. Her jewelry was custom-made with pearls and crystals, and I LOVED her dress choice! The color was  technically “coffee”.

Hometown Wedding: Kerri + Kevin

I ask each of my couples to fill out a questionnaire prior to their wedding that provides me with lots of details about their timing, family members, locations, and photo ideas. Kerri and Kevin were no exception, but one thing was notable about their responses: They said “best friend” numerous times.

They truly have a marriage built on friendship and love – the kind of marriage where they can be themselves no matter what, and laugh together as true friends. They have a marriage full of smiles, inside jokes, and an adorable Schweenie puppy named Milo. Their wedding day was no exception, although Milo was kenneled and took a rain check on the event. They were surrounded by crazy dance-floor friends, smiling bridal party members, and family who loves them like none-other.

I’m excited to see what the world brings to Kerri and Kevin, because I’m sure it will be lots of awesome stories and hilarious events together. Congratulations!

Shari at Tease Salon!

We sat in the late afternoon sun – she in RayBans and me in my Michael Kors – and we talked about guys, sisters, friends, family, weddings, working out, and even chocolate cravings and PMS. That’s because Shari is the type of person you just want to hang out with. She’s the oldest of four sisters, and she makes you feel immediately at ease. She’s the kind of girl who has a teeny albino bull dog with different colored eyes, two shades of hair, and an arm tattoo, but you just want to chat into the evening with her and joke about life.

Needless to say, Shari is the best, and it was wonderful to catch up with her again! We’ve both been going non-stop with our businesses, so it was great to carve out some time to relax and plan a new hairstyle for my mom (surprise, mom!).

Shari is booking, booking, booking up for next wedding season, so if you’re interested in having her do your wedding day hair - do. not. wait. No way you could call her the month before your wedding and get on the schedule, so hop to it!

City Wedding: Kaitlin + Brandon

Kaitlin and Brandon are a match made in let’s-have-a-candy-bar-with-wax-lips-and-mustaches heaven. They’re a couple in love with their dog (Bernard), long weekend trips, pizza + wine nights, and keeping up with their favorite (trashy) TV shows. They’re meant to be, and their wedding sealed the deal.

They were blessed with an absolutely beautiful May Saturday for their wedding, and were surrounded by friends and lots and lots of family. In fact, Kaitlin comes from a family of 6 siblings – 5 of them girls! You know what that means? Lots of good dresses and necklaces to go around. Their families were wonderful to work with, and their party was a blast. In addition to the beautiful Twentieth Century Club venue, they also had Jeff Jimmerson’s band playing! Talk about a Pens fan dream!:)

Happy Monday! Here’s a little goodness to feast your eyes on – Bill Chisnell’s work! It’s colorful, a little wild, a bit over-the-top, and all around gorgeous! I honestly think that Bill’s visions make Pittsburgh events seem like “That was in Pittsburgh?!”. Love it! I was thrilled to work with Bill for Mindy + Rob’s wedding at the Omni William Penn Hotel this past December, and then he was featured at the hotel showcase as well.
