The temperatures outside were cooler than they had been in the past month, and as Sean tied his Armani tie, he soaked in the fact that it was his wedding day. He had asked Leigh on dates for years, and finally it was the day he would be able to call her his wife.
Leigh, just finishing her hair and makeup, rushed into her room at the Fairmont and was into her wedding dress before we were able to blink. Her lips were glossed with a beautiful plum shade, and she stood at the window and overlooked St. Mary on the Mount Church where she and Sean would be married within the hour.
Inside fo the church, Sean and Leigh sang Caribbean praise songs, and smiled at the other little girl in their family – Riley – in her flower girl dress. They turned to each other, said their vows, and then turned to face their family and friends as the newlyweds. Leigh’s dad stepped into the aisle to catch the first photo of his little girl and her new husband. Little girls at all stages.
Leigh and Sean’s wedding was absolutely stunning, and expertly put-together. But more than that, it was a celebration of families. Fathers and daughters. Husbands and wives. Families that will continue to grow into other bonds. They have lots of the best things in life, and above all of those – they have the best bond and relationship. Thank you so much for having Loren and I with you on your wedding day.
Leigh gifted Sean a beautiful Breitling watch.
Getting into her dress..
And Sean left her a Yurman bracelet.
The view from the rooms in the Fairmont is spectacular!
A joyful wedding ceremony!
The new Mr. and Mrs.!
Leigh with her adorable nephews.
Their wedding party was awesome! Such fun people!
Leigh, looking stunning in a veil borrowed from her Maid of Honor.
Leigh and Sean both work in the hospital, so we got the hook up to take photos on the helipad! Love!
We headed into the Strip District as well. I love all of the color there and how statuesque they are together.
So relaxed and colorful – exactly what I look for!
Apparently I told Loren that I wanted to “play with things” that day… and what I really meant by that, was… I wanted to use some Pocketwizards and colored gels during portraits. I should be a little more descriptive..
I have to give a huge shout out and thank you to Meaghan at The Fairmont! She was amazing to work with, and put together all of the reception details so well!
A romantic first dance accompanied by the band.
This may have been as the best man was referring to Sean’s color-organized closet. Sean – nothing wrong with that! Mine’s organized by sleeve length… (uhhh…)
Leigh’s dad sang to her for their father/daughter dance.
And Sean’s little girl gave him a few rebuttals. (Captured by Loren)
I hope Leigh’s dad has Facebook.
