Chrissy and Ryan have literally known each other since before they knew. Their families are friends, and they have baby photos of the two of them together. Although they went to different high schools, it wasn’t until after school when they really started talking to each other as more than friends and carried on a long-distance relationship while Ryan was overseas for the military.
Through all of the years, it’s apparent still that Ryan is still crazy about her and a total gentleman – opening the door for her every time she got into the car during our session. Chrissy loves a romantic vibe, and so Mingo Creek was the perfect place to celebrate their engagement (all 2 years of it!)
You really can’t beat an amazing pair of riding boots, tall pine trees, and the cool morning sun. I can just smell the pine cones.
Mingo Creek State Park has two covered bridges that are cute to photograph.
The one on the right is really one of my favorites. Chrissy has amazing skin, and when I asked Ryan to pull her in even closer she just lit up.
The hills of southwestern PA.
Chrissy and Ryan’s wedding is going to be quite romantic, with pink blush tones, so I figured we’d pull a bit of that vibe into their engagement session as well.
Love the blossoms.
The sun flare and shooting through the blossoms really gives that wonderful, hushed romantic look. Paired with blonde curls and an adoring guy, and, well, I think we have a winner.
Congratulations, love birds!
