When Katie told me that Alex’s mother was making her wedding dress I was totally floored! Talk about dedication and personalization! In fact, Katie explained, there will be a lot of personalization involved in their wedding this coming May. Family members are doing hair, flowers, and lots of other pieces of the wedding and I can’t wait to see how everything comes together!
We met up last Saturday near PNC Park to shoot their engagement session. The River Walk area of the North Shore is currently closed, so we stayed closer to the stadium and the buildings nearby. It was quite sunny outside as well, and I am always up for the challenge of shooting in mid-day sun. We had a ton of fun, cracked some jokes, and got to know each other before the big day in 2 months! Here are some of my favorites from their session:
