“Did you see the new intern?”
This was Jakob’s first introduction to Christine – a question of whether or not he had seen the pretty new intern at the station. Christine and Jakob were both working at the same news station, and Christine immediately caught his eye. They’ve been together ever since, and currently live in Cleveland, where Christine reports on the weather. She had some serious concerns about their wedding day weather, and rightfully so – it was looking to be really windy and rainy in the morning. Luckily, the wind was all we got, and the weather in Wellsboro, PA turned out to be a wonderful fall day.
Why Wellsboro? Where is Wellsboro? Good questions. Christine and Jakob enjoy traveling to new locations together, and they adventured to the “Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania” together at one point to enjoy the fall foliage. They loved it so much, that they decided it would be the perfect scenic location to bring their family and friends together for their wedding. The town of Wellsboro is small, but sits at the base of the beautiful mountain ridges of Pennsylvania, which in the fall create some absolutely stunning fall scenery.
Their wedding day was a wonderful celebration of their years together and years to come, and I’m happy to share some of my favorites from their day and a little slideshow as well. Enjoy! Congratulations Christine and Jakob! May you have beautiful skies throughout your lives together!
Christine’s flowers were some of my favorite this year!
Before the ceremony I caught her Aunt practicing her reading in front of the church. After the read it “live”, she got a big thumbs up from Christine on the way back to her seat.
While I was getting the safe shot, Lydia Shannon was getting this. Love it.
Married!

The image on the left may be my favorite from the day. I think it’s so fun with the wind!
Bustling can be stressful!
Everyone from the wedding drove up to an overlook in the Grand Canyon to look at the scenery. These were captured on the road leading up to the top.
This was taken through the viewfinder of one of those lookout viewers. I’m not sure of the technical name for them right now, but I think the onlookers thought I was a bit nuts for shooting through the eyepiece. This is the result.
Christine was a beautiful bride.
Taken outside of the Antler’s Inn.
The cupcake setup. Yes, please.
Christine and her dad danced to a song that she loved as a kid. He loved it too!
First dance.
Great day!
