Seems as though this week was full of Industrial Engineers! See, Eric is also an IE from Pitt, and it turns out that my husband was his TA at one point. I think that’s pretty cool – small world
Nonetheless, let’s talk about their wedding! The day started pretty rainy and we weren’t sure how everything was going to turn out weather-wise, but we got lucky. The rain hit early and left us with a beautiful canopy of white cloudiness, which assisted in creating some amazing pictures. Natural softbox!
Beth and Eric’s wedding day started at the First Baptist Church in Oakland, which is an absolutely stunning church! I loved shooting there, and all of the gorgeousness of the wedding was only added to y the gorgeousness of the couple! Beth was an absolutely stunning bride and she really knew how to show that off! After the wedding we took some photos at the super-crowded-with-wedding-parties Carnegie Pillars, and headed off to the North Shore. The super fun reception followed at the Heinz History Center, with beautiful catering by The Common Plea.
Here are some favorites from their day, with a slideshow at the end:
The handsome groom:
I love these two, with the processing. She was a classic beauty!
On the right = photographer’s dream.
We had some steamer issues.
One of the bridesmaids did a little impromptu piano for us. She was wonderful!
Proud parents.
This was during the prayer before the ceremony. Bride and her Maid of Honor.
Glad I was able to get some great angles during the ceremony.
Love these two, especially with the columns!
They really worked it! Awesome!
Oh fun!! This was right when Eric told Beth where they would be going on their honeymoon – Ireland! He planned the whole trip without her knowing!
