Washington’s Landing. A beautiful little island in the Pittsburgh area. Few have ventured there for an engagement session, but when I mentioned it to Kristen and Jeff they were all for it. We went out on a beautifully sunny day in Pittsburgh and had a blast shooting a mix of “urban” and “woodsy” shots to satisfy them both. I’m really looking forward to working with them at at their wedding this year at Greystone Fields. They’re both so easy going that it’s hard not to feel comfortable around them. Also, I’ve known Jeff for a while, as we were both in the Industrial Engineering program at Pitt together and have shared many fun nights with friends over the course of the years. I’m so excited to be working with them!! Here’s some of my favorites from their session:
Some cool grungy underpasses on Washington’s Landing. Also note Jeff’s skinny tie ala Joel McHale.
I’m not usually a “tilter”, but I loved the lines form the staircase, and I think it really works here.
Stealthy kisses.
The greenery on the island is simply beautiful.
Oh! And we ventured over to the Roberto Clemente bridge on the North Shore (by PNC Park) for a couple of shots too!
And last, but not least, a random .gif file that I put together for an animation. And by “put together”, I mean I went to gickr.com to create it, but I still think it’s cool!!
