Pittsburgh Children's Photography

This week I had the priviledge of working with Amelia and her son, Chad. This was one of my first kids photography sessions, besides when I take a zillion pictures of my niece. Honestly, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I was the youngest in my family of all of the cousins, so there were never little kids around. Once my older cousins had kids, I really never saw them all that often. Needless to say, when it comes to 2-year-olds I felt pretty darn clueless. I was contacted my one of Amelia’s friends regarding the chance to photograph them, and boy, I am so glad I did!!

I think perhaps in the beginning Chad was a little curious who that strange woman in all black was (umm… poor choice in outfit selection by me that day..) After a few minutes, though, he forgot all about me taking his picture because it was time for the playground!! Yay! We hung out around the playground for a while and then headed over to Mt. Washington looking over Pittsburgh, where I was able to get some more fun pictures. Sad times when one of his cars went over the lookout, but he was ready to play after all of 20 seconds. I definitely enjoyed this shoot, and if you or someone you know is interested in some Pittsburgh kids photography, let me know! It was fun!

Thanks to his beautiful mommy, Amelia, for having me along:)
